My 2008 Movie List

I’m up way too early today. I got up at 5.30 this morning because I thought I had more Christmas presents to wrap. My parents & I are driving to West Lafayette, Indiana tonight to meet my brother’s family for dinner & to bring the presents to their kids…  Well, long story short… my mom had already wrapped the presents.

So, since I have some time to kill (yes, I actually did think about going back to bed!) I’ll post my movie list for this year.

29. Marley & Me 12.26.08

30. Slumdog Millionaire 12.30.08

Whew, that’s a lot of popcorn, soda, and nachos!

The movie I saw twice because I loved the music: Sweeney Todd

The movie that I hated the music I fell asleep: Mamma Mia

Best Performance of the year: Heath Ledger in Dark Knight

Director & Writer who had a one-hit-wonder but I’ll still see his movie because JUST MAYBE the new one will be as good as The Sixth Sense: M. Night Shalamayan (too early to remember how to spell his last name).

Worst Movie of the Year: Yes, my friends it’s “The Happening”

Biggest Disappointment: The Chronicles of Narnia. The first one was so magical. The 2nd movie sucked rocks.

Movie where I was the youngest in the theatre: The Bucket List. Everyone was probably in their 60s or 70s.

Favorite Chick Flick: 27 Dresses

Favorite Movie that nobody saw: Swing Vote

Movie where I laughed the loudest: Tropic Thunder

My top movie of 2008: Slumdog Millionaire (SEE THIS MOVIE!!!)

That’s it for now. Ta-ta. I’m back in Philly tomorrow night.
