I’m about to leave for dinner at a friend’s house. I should stay home and study for my OB exam next week. Totally frightened of it… It’s worth 35% of our grade. There is so much to know.
I’m almost fairly certain that I didn’t get the job at Lankenau. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard anything yet. I sent an email to the HR person I was talking to just asking for the status and didn’t get a reply. Even though they say “they’ll be in touch”… HR never is when it’s bad news. One of my other classmates got hired right on the spot. The other classmate said it took about a week to hear back. So, my week is up
The other interview I had yesterday actually went really well. It seems like it would be an interesting job. What I liked about it was that it’s in the city. Pays well and is a set 8 week program. This would give me time to take a few trips in May and then again in August. The person I interviewed with said that either way I would hear by the end of next week…
I. Hate. Interviewing. I’ve never been very good at selling myself.
